Exploring the Appalachian Trail: Hikes in South New England ReviewThis book is awesome for guiding your adventures on the lower New England AT. The book has all the info you need on trails, shelters, water sources, and parking. There are also elevation maps and recommended routes to take. The only feature that I thought was not super were the small topo/contour maps. Streams were not easy to see on the maps and the fidelity of the maps could have been a bit better. I purchased the ATC Connecticut/Mass. maps which are awesome.
