Country Sports: The Rabid Pursuits of a Redneck Environmentalist ReviewAs the senior editor of Nexus Reviews, I see about twenty new books each day. Some catch my interest, but most do not. This is not to be critical of those that don't, my interest change often.Country Sports caught my eye, because my son at 22 is interested in fly fishing and dogs. So, I thought, lets catch up some in the knowledge department. What I found was a delightful read in this collection of his country sports articles. Each story is very enjoyable and for those who don't know much about the subject will learn quite some interesting information.
For instance, I didn't know that people really used dogs and goats as pack animals. This book is a treasure of information about dogs, fly fishing and conflicts between different special interest groups, each claiming to know what is best for the land.
