Basking with Humpbacks: Tracking Threatened Marine Life in New England Waters ReviewI would never describe myself as an environmentalist, but nonetheless I thought this was a very enjoyable read. The various chapters explored animals that I normally take for granted. The best part about this book is that it isn't too text bookey nor preachy. He makes a lot of connections that I never thought about and gave me a clearer understanding of how a lot of things in nature are connected.
The stories he tells about his adventures while learning about the various species are as enjoyable as the text describing the species themselves. You can almost feel the excitement the author felt while getting up close and personal with several animals. A few more pictures would have been nice, but hardly necessary give the authors eloquent desciptions.
I highly recommend this book to anybody that likes a good story or wants to learn more about some pretty cool animals.Basking with Humpbacks: Tracking Threatened Marine Life in New England Waters Overview
