Wicked North Alabama ReviewSomeone brought this book to show to my mother, who was very close to the events of one of the "stories" in this book. She is deeply distraught over the description of Martha Chisenall and the events leading to her rape and murder and can only surmise that the author meant to create a more thrilling story in order to sell books or did sloppy research by relying only on the testimony of the convicted rapist and his cohorts. As far as we know, none of the friends or family members of the victim were contacted for this story. For those who knew and loved Martha well, the account is highly insulting and painful. Perhaps the author should refrain from telling tales until the people who know the facts are dead. It does make one wonder how many more "true stories" are embellished in this way.Wicked North Alabama Overview
